Objective:
Tell the story of how the EDF Group, a major player in the energy transition, is helping to position the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games a new model for more sustainable major sporting events.
Strategy:
To make as many people as possible aware of EDF's commitments through the Team EDF athletes, we created a series, "L'Energie de", where in each episode tells the story one of EDF's core commitments such as inclusion, sport and climate.
Each episode focuses on an athlete's from the EDF team as they prepare for the 2024 Olympics, following them as they take part in a committed action supported by EDF. In season 1, we followed Florent Manaudou as he gave swimming lessons to young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods in Marseille, Dimitri Pavadé as he lived a day in the life of a para athlete, and Charline Picon as she told us how protecting the environment and combating climate change is a focus she shares with her sponsor.
Deliverables:
For the season, we developed a multi-platform campaign with:
> 3 mini-documentaries each approx. 10 minutes long, published on YouTube
> 3 short-format versions (3mins) for social media (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat)
> 3.30 minute and 60 minute versions for broadcast on France Télévisions TV and digital channels.
